I’m an interactive designer and developer for an ad agency, as well as a general techno-dweeb. I would love the opportunity to be a part of such a large design/tech event, and have a chance to collaborate with so many of my peers.

Why do I want to go? Well, I’m in Toronto, and this is an opportunity of a lifetime. Sometimes it’s difficult to arrange time to attend creative events, but I just happen to be available then. Sounds like fate.

I volunteered a few years ago as a student to help out at the event, caught some of the presentations and absolutely but never got a proper experience. Here’s hoping this time I can go as an actual attendee.

I recently was hired by a firm in Toronto mainly to build drupal sites but am now moving into flash and flex. Being new to Toronto, cost to attend the event are a little beyond my budget but would be a super huge opportunity if selected.

Being an up and coming graphic artist, going to an event like this could help boost my career. Plus, I’m a recent graduate that doesn’t have a job; therefore, no moolah to purchase the tickets.

I will be working from home for the first time when I get off of maternity leave next week. Being socially deprived the last 3 months, I am ready to get out of the house and get my brain jumped started with some good education and networking!

OMG! Listen, I was a volunteer at the event few years ago, (we had orange t-shirts). The event was awesome, I got a glimpse of some of the speakers, I wish I could afford to attend the event, (recent layoff). If you can afford it don’t miss it, and please give others a chance. I still managed to make contacts at the expo hall, great people, tons of info and quality event.

I want to go there for two reasons, to expand my view of the design industry given that I’ve been working heavily on Motion Design for the past year, and the not so glamorous reason, I want to meet-up with people I haven’t seen in over a year.

I am a recent graduate and our teachers told us about FITC and that our class could go but it fell through. Since then I have really wanted to go!

I would love to attend FITC. Main reason.. Well you know how kids always say they want to a doctor, or a engineer, or spaceman, I always wanted to be an artist. For the longest time I wasn’t letting myself to work on my dream, mainly because all I herd my whole life is that I need to think about money and artists don’t make money. Now I’m 23 years old and I finally on my way to be who I always wanted to be. I chose Digital Media Design out of all art programs at colleges and currently finishing up my first year.
I’m very passionate about what I do and I love being inspired by works of others. A lot of artists don’t get recognized for amazing works they do and it has to be changed. And events like FITC make that change.

I would be so psyched to attend. I’ve plateaued at my job and I need some inspiration to push me to the next level. Pick me!

Being freelance and an office of one, FITC is a great chance to connect with like minded individuals. It would mean the world to me and a good way to shake off winter cabin fever forever! Everyone at the office agrees I should go!
