Sep 7, 2011 at 11:41 am

I’d really love to get high-quality cards to promote my portfolio.

Sep 7, 2011 at 11:43 am

Moo is fantastic. I have used them in the past and am always pleased with the quality! I would love to get some post cards made to promote my illustrations!

Sep 7, 2011 at 11:44 am

I would love these cards not for my benefit, but to share them and give them away! To make someone else’s day!

Sep 7, 2011 at 11:45 am

Love MOO designs! It would be sooo cool to have their designs in my bizcards to promote the business. It would be a perfect match!

Sep 7, 2011 at 11:48 am

As a freelancer, I think these cards will help to create a very professional and creative image when talking with potential clients. I would love to win a set!

Sep 7, 2011 at 11:50 am

I’m working on redesigning my site and logo and was wanting to make new MOO cards to give out when networking at two conferences I’m headed to this month. I love MOO and usually do a set of mini cards at least once a year. Postcards would be an awesome way to actually show a few portfolio pieces!

Also I <3 Web Designer Wall – I always recommend your WordPress tutorial to beginners because it's truly what helped me figure out how to make my first theme (and I should probably go comment that on those posts…).

Sep 7, 2011 at 11:53 am

I would love to win due to the fact I’m so utterly tired of my current business cards (only 500 to go…)

Andres Hermosilla
Sep 7, 2011 at 12:04 pm

I think a better question is why shouldn’t I win? “Good question, I don’t know?!” (am also in need of a business card refresh)

Sep 7, 2011 at 12:11 pm

This site looks kick ass, count me in please!

Sep 7, 2011 at 12:16 pm

I love Moo! I’ve bought their products before for mini business cards and a writer’s block giveaway for our local NaNoWriMo contingent. I would LOVE to win their postcards because with November coming up, I could write reminder notes to my writing group again – but this time, with flair!

I hope I win!!

Sep 7, 2011 at 12:17 pm

Because it’s the only moo product I didn’t order yet :)

Sep 7, 2011 at 12:19 pm

In 2 weeks I’ve a 1st year anniversary with fiance & would like to make sth with our photos… cards sounds very nice. Find best photos (easy) & write sth from the heart (this is the hard part). Moo is the best choice if we speak about quality.

Marc Ojales
Sep 7, 2011 at 12:20 pm

The products look like they are very good quality. I’d love to win those postcards.

Sep 7, 2011 at 12:27 pm

Oh!!! I have business cards from MOO, and I have to refresh them soon, since I just got my dream job. :) I will be designing garments and accessories in a small boutique with three other designers from October. It would be so nice to have the design processes, fashion illustrations printed on beautiful cards, so we could give them to our costumers, hang them in the shop and promote our little creative community in the neighborhood.

En ce moment, je réalise mes cartes de visistes, donc ce serait une belle opportunité pour moi et un incroyable coup de pouce de votre part.

Sep 7, 2011 at 12:54 pm

I love Moo! I’ve never tried their postcards, but I could certainly use them! I’m looking for a fun way to advertise during my up-coming open-studio event. This could be a great way!

Sep 7, 2011 at 5:41 pm

I’m have a photography business I run on the side, and I’d love to get a chance to try out moo to see if they live up to the hype!

Sep 7, 2011 at 1:01 pm

Although I think it’s a stretch to call fifty dollars “grand”, I must shamefully admit that I’ve done far worse for a mere $50: Out of desperation, I once entered and won a “best ass” contest at the Ramrod in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. That fifty dollars bought me enough gas to get the hell out of Florida. However, in hindsight, I think $50 worth of MOO business cards would do a much better job at promoting my design business, than perhaps a tattoo on my prize-winning rear end.

Sep 7, 2011 at 1:32 pm

I love moo.com! I had mini business cards printed and they look amazing. I get a lot of compliments on their quality.

Sep 7, 2011 at 1:53 pm

I love MOO. I recommend them to pretty much all of my clients, but have never got round to printing my own. Winning this would clearly be MOOsic to my ears!

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:03 pm

I’m in my first year of design school (studying graphic design) so being able to use their print services for my assignments this year would be extremely convenient. Not to mention, many of my friends have moved out of the city to be closer to school so having self-designed postcards to send them would be sweet!

I heard from a close friend that MOO has an awesome service and I look forward to trying them out. Thanks for this giveaway!

Colin Oakes
Sep 7, 2011 at 2:05 pm

I would love to win this contest so I can finally get a chance to try out MOO. I have heard a lot of good things and this would be a great opportunity to try out their service first hand.

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:26 pm

Haven’t you heard. If i don’t win these and mail them out the postal service will go out of business.

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:30 pm

Moo brings to life things that Instagram can’t.

That’s why I’d love to get these postcards.

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:30 pm

I really could use Moo postcards or the $50 towards Moo biz cards and stickers to promote and grow my freelance design business. However, if I don’t win, I really hope Kouri Carey wins… “best ass” and all! ;)

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:35 pm

I’ve always dug Moo’s stuff.

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:41 pm

I love the services MOO provides!

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:43 pm

WOW! what a coincidence, i just recently created a set of postcards for my typography class. It would be great to get them professionally printed. :)

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:45 pm

After reading that, I have the words, “To printfinity and beyond!!” resounding in my head. Obviously, I need to win to distract me from this Buzz Lightyear mania; please, have mercy!

Sep 7, 2011 at 2:57 pm

I’ve always wanted to know what all the hype was about.

I use the mini cards and love the reaction I get when I pass them out. I’d like the opportunity to expand the selection.

Sep 7, 2011 at 10:31 pm

I’ve gotten some MOO cards before and I love the quality of their products. My friends and I love sending postcards to each other when we travel. I’m always trying to make my own cards but I’m not happy with the printers we have locally. I’ve been planning on getting my cards printed with MOO so this would be an awesome chance. Getting my drawings and photos on high-quality MOO cards is a winning situation for everyone! :D

Sep 7, 2011 at 10:48 pm

I’m in my final semester of classes and there is a formal portfolio show at the end of the semester to be attended by colleagues, teachers, and prospective employers. I would really like to use something like this to round out my table and make more eye-catching work that can be taken by people interested in my work.

I’m redesigning my blog. I’d need some business cards to ‘tie-in’ with that. I’ve also got several people in the industry I want to thank. Sending a postcard I’ve designed would bs an excellent little extra when I’m saying thank you :D

Alexandru Pitea

It’s Rosh HaShana (The Jewish New Year http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosh_Hashanah) and one of it’s traditions is to send postcard greeting to your friends and family. I would love to do it with a personalized Moo postcards and not with something I will buy somewhere. (need more then 20, but it is a start:) ).

Sep 8, 2011 at 3:18 am

My best friend collects postcards. So this would make a great birthday present for her.

Sep 8, 2011 at 3:45 am

I need to tell various relatives of mine (who aren’t online) about a charity bike trek I’m undertaking in November. I could send them postcards (featuring pics of me on my bike!) asking for sponsorship… great huh?

You would be helping my “Plump Postman” appeal. If I send my house (which has the steepest drive in Britain) a postcard a day, he could really see the benefits. Help a postman, let me win

Sep 8, 2011 at 10:27 am

Working on re-inventing my husband’s business- he’s a custom home builder and has been virtually unemployed for months and months. Due to a drastic cut in our income and the fact that we are going to need several print pieces, winning this would help out tremendously. Thank you for the offer!

Sep 8, 2011 at 10:56 am

Make every day feel like a holiday by creating postcards of where you live and sending them out to friends and family telling them what a great time you’re having.

Don’t answer the door to the guys in the white coats though ;)

I’m working on re-branding everything related to my blog so this would come in handy as I’m going to need to get new business cards and such printed up. And even if I don’t win the grand prize, I can use the postcards to send around the world through Postcrossing.com.

Sep 8, 2011 at 3:47 pm

Being a newly single dad and striking out my own I could use every bit of self-promo help I can get. My Moo MiniCards have been a huge hit in the past and I know I could put the postcards and credit to good use to give myself a great branding boost!

Sep 8, 2011 at 6:26 pm

Because that’s my last year in graphic design degree and I wanna thank everyone who’s been by my side all those years with pics of my works! Also because I did Moo MiniCards 2 years ago and I loved them! :)

Sep 8, 2011 at 7:47 pm

I should win, because I am an avid vector artist. Though I am currently majoring in game art design, vectors are a great passion of mine, that I use for both graphic art and game design. I would really love to win to be able to print my portraits on post cards and send them out. What a great way to stay in touch with business connections and stay in the loop with my old networks. It would be a really great benefit to me, as I have a lot of past design team mates I would like to keep within my professional network. And displaying my vector art abilities would help me advertise my portrait commission ability as well, to those I send them to.-Just in time for the Holidays.

Thank you for considering me! :)

The Moo cards look sharp in your picture – I’d like to have some myself :)
Also, I think we should all send some snail mail and support the USPS while they’re still in business.

Sep 9, 2011 at 2:01 pm

I love writing postcards but the ones you can buy around here are always so dull. :-(
So it would just be wonderful to be able to print my own :-) So you’d not only make me happy but also the receivers :-)

I have always loved the idea of having business cards with various photos in one pack. I have discovered Moo via flickr but never got the money to try them out. Sep 11, 2011 at 4:08 am

I usually make postcards myself, so I can glue stupid stuff all over them, and leave encouraging messages for the postman. This will probably turn out the same- but glossy (or nice matte?)! Out of respect for the glossiness (or nice matte), I will, for a change, show restraint and not put large type comic sans on the front of anything that gets sent to designers. Send me an address, and you’ll get (restrained (or not)) mail from NZ too (;

Sep 11, 2011 at 6:27 am

I’d love to win because my boyfriend and me don’t live at the same place.
Now his birthday is right around the corner and the Moo cards would be a great medium for a very special and personal gift.
Go figure: I’ll send him one of the postcards every day. Every postcard picture shows a part of my body. And at the end, after receiving all cards, he can stick the cards together and I’m at his place too! Great! The Pictures already exist, now I only need the cards! :)

Sep 12, 2011 at 6:42 am

MOO loves printing…and so do I…
Great contest … Hope I Win..

Sep 12, 2011 at 9:31 am

I’ve always wanted to use the MOO service but the lack of money, and the lack of using business cards here in Sweden – I haven’t got the chance. I’m hoping swedes will change their mind sooner or later. Cause – I have!

Sep 12, 2011 at 1:05 pm

I should get them because I’m just starting my business and could use the kickstart!

Sep 12, 2011 at 4:39 pm

I should get them because…I think it’d be really neat!

Sep 12, 2011 at 5:54 pm

I would like to win this so I can get a chance to see one of my illustrations professionally printed out on a postcard. I’d love some. My wife collects postcards and I’ve always been a fan of them. Plus, MOO stuff is as high-quality as you can get.

Sep 14, 2011 at 8:59 am

I’ve been wanting to try MOO for awhile now, but could never decide what to order. Should it be the 100-pack of business cards with a different photo-quality pic 0n each? The stickers? The postcards? …and then what? Which images should I share? Should each item have a different image? 5 of each design? 3 of each? GAH! I’m drowning in choices, here!
I should win because it would light the fire under my bum to finally get something printed–no more hopping back and forth.
Thanks very much!

Sep 14, 2011 at 2:10 pm

I’ve been following you guys ever since I was a wee designer wishing one day I will get a business card design done! I’ve loved the unique approach that you guys have to all your marketing as well as your products. I deserve to win because I’d make something magical with the prize!

Sep 14, 2011 at 6:58 pm

This is my most favorite best website for trends and tutorials. There is no good reason why I am deserving over anyone else accept that I collect postcards, have saved every post card I was ever sent, and send myself a post card from any place I travel. It’s quite a collection, you should come by and see it. I’ll make bread, brew tea, open the best jam. Thank you.

Sep 14, 2011 at 11:09 pm

I would love to win MOO! I have so many prints I need to get creative with–free=inspiration!

Sep 15, 2011 at 8:44 am

I want to try moo print quality and service so i can judge if it is suitable for my clients and future project. Giving give away is more giving to people that are interested and have a demo and overall experience before further engagement. So please let me win.

Sep 15, 2011 at 9:44 am

You should pick me to win because Moo is fantastic, and with their help, I will design glorious postcards to share with the world! Also, I am a freelance design startup, and I am categorically broke. (-:

Sep 15, 2011 at 11:26 am

I am not going to promise all the bells and whistles, but just simply say that I always print my business cards with MOO.

I have to win this because Moo cards are what could save my business from dying. I’ve been having it tough the last few months, and now that I’m out in the open doing design work again, I need cards.

Sep 20, 2011 at 11:04 am

I think i should win because having the post cards will help me learn more as i’ve on your blog for a while. Your collapasible comments, to your expanding search field, the use of media queries, … I sure will find few things that will improve my skills.

Sep 20, 2011 at 1:26 pm

I’ve never won anything in my life (36yrs old). I have however found things like money a couple times. And once I got a better seat at a concert for trading my ticket to some guy that didn’t like the band playing next.

Sep 21, 2011 at 4:54 am

Good Morning,

I had actually heard about MOO, and I ordered the example pack to see the quality of the cards and stickers. Well, a weeks ago I actually got the packet and I was really surprised with what they sent. The quality is amazing, the colors look great and overall I highly recommend working with this company. They also have amazing designs in their page that can be reused or just used as an inspiration point.

I have started to work on my own designs, and if you noticed the plural it is correct. The best thing is that each card you order can have a different design so if the prize here are 20 postcards you can actually have 20 different designs!! (Cool huh?).

So, I believe this would be a great opportunity to get started printing my designs! Whether I win this or not, I think this is a great opportunity the winners should enjoy! Thanks a lot!

Kind Regards,

Sep 21, 2011 at 7:09 am

I should win, because I absolutely LOVE MOO, but have never tried their postcards and I decided to leave my job to stay home with my 1,5-year-old and enjoy the simpler life and pursue my crafting, so I couldn’t afford to order them myself.

Sep 21, 2011 at 12:41 pm

I just started getting into screen printing and working on developing my personal brand, I would love to get some postcards done for the holiday season where I can promote what I do and try and get some interest all while sending holiday wishes. I would feature a few pictures of my work on the front of the postcard.

My design students have used MOO before for business cards and I was very pleased with the results so using them for postcards would be fantastic and may inspire a new project! This is so exciting!!! I hope I win :)

Sep 21, 2011 at 12:42 pm

lol. I thought i had a good reason to get the postcards, but i’m finding people with really funny once.

Sep 23, 2011 at 11:22 am

I {heart} moo, and would love to win a chance to try their postcards!

Sep 27, 2011 at 3:54 am

Sep 27, 2011 at 7:07 pm

I don’t have a good reason WHY I should win, I just WANT to win…I think MOO’s business cards are top of the line in terms of how creative, clever, and unique the design choices they provide. I just started my own business so as soon as I get more than one client I am treating myself to some MOO business cards, I have them picked out already, they are the ones with the quotes on the back! So why, or for that matter who, wouldn’t want to win postcards from MOO?

Sep 28, 2011 at 6:33 am

i recently moved to washington (from texas). when i got here, the first thing i did was buy a printer so i could print address labels to send mail to everyone back home.

after buying all the postcards they had left at the nearby borders that was closing, i looked all over town (redmond) for other places that sold them, and my 6th stop finally had some (bartell drugstore). because of the way they have to ring up items, the cashier had to scan 86 individual postcards. i sent a postcard to each person every couple of days for the first month.

when i ran out of variety (by having sent 6 or 7 different shots of the seattle space needle to each person), i decided to print my own. i went on etsy and looked for blank postcards, but when i got them, i realized the printer wouldn’t play nice with something that small… so i ordered some card stock and a paper trimmer on amazon to make my own postcards.

when they arrived, i realized the paper was too floppy when cut down to the necessary size. eventually, i went to staples to find better paper, but all they had left were bright colors (it was back to school week so they were out of a lot of things). finally, i just decided to use the 200 pages of card stock i had bought on amazon, so after printing out designs for the postcards, i cut them with the trimmer and glued 2 sheets together to solve the floppy problem.

i mailed a few postcards that way. it was a bit weird, but i loved being able to have my own images on them. the recipients loved it, too. i’d make postcards with their names on the front, or print a picture of us together, etc. after that, i never bought standard postcards again because the custom ones were so much more fun.

i didn’t know there was a service out there that would print your own graphics on actual postcards like this. it would have saved me a lot of grief.

if i don’t win this, i’ll still probably order those postcards on moo! lol.

my name is carie, and postcards are my new obsession :)

I am moving 10.5 hours away from my home town. I won’t be able to come back and visit my family through the holidays. It would be nice to send them something, made by me, like mailing out cards that I designed. They would get a kick out of that.

Oct 3, 2011 at 2:10 am

i like to test that

Oct 3, 2011 at 8:09 am

It would be lovely after finishing a project to sent a postcard as a thank you.

First of all great stuff. Your WP Themes, jQuery plugins, photoshop stuff is really cool. You asked “Why I should win” the MOO prize. I think i am the only one who requested MOO demo but cant buy cause of shipping price. It likes loving a girl but cant tell it her :) It makes me happy to win like everbody here. (Maybe i will be a little more )

Oct 7, 2011 at 9:08 am

I would loooove to win because printing new postcards and business cards would help me jumpstart my freelance career.

Oct 8, 2011 at 7:06 am

I could dazzle you with design jargon, and tell you how I am the one that should win because I just got my Associates Degree in Graphic Design, and how I want to jump start my freelance career, but than I would be one amount many. I could say that I deserve to win because I really like your site, but alas that would be,…like really trying to be something I am not, someone who religiously reads your site. I am not. I am just a designer who stumbled onto this contest looking for inspiration. A designer, that is having a hard time sleeping because of a design problem that, cant be MOO-ved.
