SWFaddress and Best Samples 85
Don't you find it frustrating to browse Flash sites because you can't use the browser's back/forward button or send your friend to a certain section? The solution to this problem would be SWFaddress — a small Javascript library that lets you create virtual URLs for Flash and Ajax. SWFaddress has been around since 2006, and surprisingly not all Flash sites are utilizing this tool. In this post, I've collected 20 sites (Flash and Ajax) that are using SWFaddress.

Amazing, great compilation and info
Thanks for the info. I think I will find use for this tool. Anna :)

I used swfobject in http://www.nervous-energy.eu after seeing it at http://www.383project.com/ – it’s very nice.
Wow, thanks for reminding me about that. I somehow completely forgot about this JS :/
thanks for the interesting post :)
Thanks What’s the problem here? Google could bury the meager profit number from even the biggest media conglomerates.
these are awesome!
thanks for putting in the effort to get this list together
Thanks for the links… great resource for website design!
I think is great to have this solution for websites using Flash or fully done using AJAX or JS. Thanks a lot for the info
I can’t stand flash sites but if your going to use it you better have the tool mentioned here. Just another reason not to use flash because you need all these other things to do what should be the most simple of tasks. Nice article. I almost stopped looking at the sites after the first one…kinda scary picture :P
2Advanced’s website was one of the first website to use this kind of technique, I think it could be great to feature their website..http://www.2advanced.com
WONDERFUL !!!!
Thanks for the great post. This will be very useful in an upcoming project.
Thanks for posting this. I had always used anchors and the # in my web address to target different areas in Flash. Never heard of SWFAddress before.
Flash is definately going to be the future….
