Before I go to the prizes, I would like to mention that Microsoft is having a web event called Make Web, Not War '09 in Toronto on Jun 10th (full day), and Vancouver on Jun 2nd (half day). Comment entries will be accepted until June 12, 2009. Then three winning numbers will be generated randomly from the comment list. First number will get the first prize, second number will get the second prize, and third number will get the third prize.
It’s good Microsoft tries to organise this sort of things to get closer to their most hated people, the webdevs/designers who have to code for the IE’s :(
I just hope they’ll announce some drastic change there :)

Why are all the awesome cons in Canada? Maybe I need to organize a road trip! Tech con envy aside, I am going to a horror con this month to meet Bruce Campbell and Robert Englund, so I guess that makes up for it. (:

Hopefully M’soft will host a shindig a bit closer to home! I have been wondering about expression studio… I wondered if it was all that it’s cracked up to be.
I’d love to take part in this event, but I’m afraid, I won’t get from Germany to Vancouver or Toronto.

When will this happen in L.A…..
it would be interesting to see what Microsoft’s view of what “making the web” is. IE is notoriously the worst browser to code for.
Hahaha, this should be interesting – I don’t have anything against Microsoft, they just.. shouldn’t be doing browsers anymore. I hope silverlight comes out with some sick tech though.
