By now, I think most of you should know that WordPress can do more than just a blog platform. With WordPress, plus some plugins, you can build almost any type of websites. To show you what I mean, I have collected 30 websites that use WordPress for different purposes — from general websites to portfolios, ecommerce and corporate sites. Hope this post will open up more ideas for you to use WordPress.

I’m absolutely inspired by how so many WordPress sites go above and beyond your typical blog. I’ve started using it for developing sites that just need a strong CMS – I found it an absolute joy to work with and love the flexibility it gives you, the only danger is getting drunk on plug-ins and wanting to add in every feature you come across. Reminds me of phpBB portals & CMS.
Really hacked off stuff. If you want a CMS. Don’t use wordpress. It’s only alright for editable-static sites.
Nice designs though.
Is the fourth one (Creative Depart) inspired by Joshua Davis Studios?
