By now, I think most of you should know that WordPress can do more than just a blog platform. With WordPress, plus some plugins, you can build almost any type of websites. I love using WordPress for all of my projects. Figuring out how to make WP do what I want it to do is the funnest part! My Letters of Love is powered by WordPress, and I’m very proud of it (it’s my first WP site). I’m open to any constructive criticism you guys have got for me. :)

@Josh: The post that you linked to is an older post, we’ve since moved back to WordPress. We used Expression Engine for the previous build and found that it was too heavy for what we were trying to accomplish. We’re back on the WordPress bus and have been using it with a lot of our clients as a CMS for a couple years now.
Although some of them are a little bit older now, I’ve written a few articles that might help you achieve some of the functionality we’ve implemented with the latest build. Hopefully it helps!

WordPress! Do everything possible to it.
We recently launched http://www.DiaperDispatch.com that uses WordPress MU. Although WordPress definitely has it’s limitations, it has been great because people with almost no experience are able to create and maintain their own baby blogs. As a designer, I really haven’t been limited in how I design, which has been a welcome change.
