would love to add some postcards to my collection :)
Nice! I would love to participate in the giveaway for having my very own unique postcard ;)
Regards
Very nice article, thanks :)
I think i should win because having the post cards will help me learn more as i’ve on your blog for a while. Your collapasible comments, to your expanding search field, the use of media queries, … I sure will find few things that will improve my skills.
I’ve never won anything in my life (36yrs old). I have however found things like money a couple times. And once I got a better seat at a concert for trading my ticket to some guy that didn’t like the band playing next.
A really good case made :)
Ooh, postcards, that’d be something different for my xmas card idea this year :D
Cool ;)
Good Morning,
I had actually heard about MOO, and I ordered the example pack to see the quality of the cards and stickers. Well, a weeks ago I actually got the packet and I was really surprised with what they sent. The quality is amazing, the colors look great and overall I highly recommend working with this company. They also have amazing designs in their page that can be reused or just used as an inspiration point.
I have started to work on my own designs, and if you noticed the plural it is correct. The best thing is that each card you order can have a different design so if the prize here are 20 postcards you can actually have 20 different designs!! (Cool huh?).
So, I believe this would be a great opportunity to get started printing my designs! Whether I win this or not, I think this is a great opportunity the winners should enjoy! Thanks a lot!
Kind Regards,
M.
I should win, because I absolutely LOVE MOO, but have never tried their postcards and I decided to leave my job to stay home with my 1,5-year-old and enjoy the simpler life and pursue my crafting, so I couldn’t afford to order them myself.
I just started getting into screen printing and working on developing my personal brand, I would love to get some postcards done for the holiday season where I can promote what I do and try and get some interest all while sending holiday wishes. I would feature a few pictures of my work on the front of the postcard.
My design students have used MOO before for business cards and I was very pleased with the results so using them for postcards would be fantastic and may inspire a new project! This is so exciting!!! I hope I win :)
lol. I thought i had a good reason to get the postcards, but i’m finding people with really funny once.
I {heart} moo, and would love to win a chance to try their postcards!
Comment!
I don’t have a good reason WHY I should win, I just WANT to win…I think MOO’s business cards are top of the line in terms of how creative, clever, and unique the design choices they provide. I just started my own business so as soon as I get more than one client I am treating myself to some MOO business cards, I have them picked out already, they are the ones with the quotes on the back! So why, or for that matter who, wouldn’t want to win postcards from MOO?
I {heart} moo, and would love to win a chance to try their postcards!
Cool~ I would like to win!! :)
i recently moved to washington (from texas). when i got here, the first thing i did was buy a printer so i could print address labels to send mail to everyone back home.
after buying all the postcards they had left at the nearby borders that was closing, i looked all over town (redmond) for other places that sold them, and my 6th stop finally had some (bartell drugstore). because of the way they have to ring up items, the cashier had to scan 86 individual postcards. i sent a postcard to each person every couple of days for the first month.
when i ran out of variety (by having sent 6 or 7 different shots of the seattle space needle to each person), i decided to print my own. i went on etsy and looked for blank postcards, but when i got them, i realized the printer wouldn’t play nice with something that small… so i ordered some card stock and a paper trimmer on amazon to make my own postcards.
when they arrived, i realized the paper was too floppy when cut down to the necessary size. eventually, i went to staples to find better paper, but all they had left were bright colors (it was back to school week so they were out of a lot of things). finally, i just decided to use the 200 pages of card stock i had bought on amazon, so after printing out designs for the postcards, i cut them with the trimmer and glued 2 sheets together to solve the floppy problem.
i mailed a few postcards that way. it was a bit weird, but i loved being able to have my own images on them. the recipients loved it, too. i’d make postcards with their names on the front, or print a picture of us together, etc. after that, i never bought standard postcards again because the custom ones were so much more fun.
i didn’t know there was a service out there that would print your own graphics on actual postcards like this. it would have saved me a lot of grief.
if i don’t win this, i’ll still probably order those postcards on moo! lol.
my name is carie, and postcards are my new obsession :)
I am moving 10.5 hours away from my home town. I won’t be able to come back and visit my family through the holidays. It would be nice to send them something, made by me, like mailing out cards that I designed. They would get a kick out of that.
i like to test that
