Poll: Should WDW Hire Bloggers? 194
Since Web Designer Wall launched last year, the feedbacks been encouraging. Recently though, a lot of complaints have come in that I don’t write frequently enough. Well, writing quality content takes time; plus I have to manage my freelance business and Best Web Gallery. Some people have suggested hiring guest bloggers to step-up posting frequency, which sounds interesting. So, please tell me what you think in the poll below:

It would be great but after all, it’s the quality that counts and I think your doing a stunning job already! The articles are so useful, and for me they always inspire something new :)
For me, there are a gazillion sites on the Internet where I can get good content by other writers. I don’t care about more content. What I care about is who is presenting the content, the fact that they believe it valuable enough to spend their time putting together, and the experience behind the content. Low signal to noise ratio is great, but why not just avoid introducing the noise at all? =)

Well, i voted for “yes” but i actually think that it’s not a must. Instead of hiring and pointless, amateur posts; people may send you their own articles/posts/works to publish if they are good enough or worth that.
Volunteer bloggers, volunteer posts, “pro” articles.
I think that this blog should be set an example for many bloggers. Frequency is not the most important factor in modern blogging

well that really depends on where you want this blog to go. I think that having other bloggers on this site that share the same passion and knowledge could be beneficial. However before considering paying or hiring others I am sure you have friends who could guest blog in the industry. That way you can see how ell the site is received with the additional bloggers
I would say yes, just so long as you put guidelines in place and monitor the content.
I’d say no. We dont want people to just write stuff… we want intelligent stuff from the pro’s.
I said no too. This site is an amazing source of interesting things for web designers.
If the content will be made by someone else, the quality will be lost.

Yes it would be nice to have more writers for the blog but it may mean more work than you have now. I would be for hiring bloggers so long as the quality of content remained the same or improved.
Definately I think it would be great to see more content coming from webdesignerwall!

One one side it would be great if people could contribute with the work you are doing on this site, but on the other, as far as they would keep with the content’s quality of this site that would be good then but, I mean, that’s not going to happen. New contributors might be as good as you are, or might not, but they won’t be the exactly same, and that’s for sure.
I suppose I wouldn’t know what to say, so it’s up to you
