Looks like a nice component. A think a few of the effects in the demo looked alittle “cheap” but some of them looked really well. I liked the water effect and the swirly green magical effect in one of the dark forest images. Looked very usefull overall.

I’ve tried creating simple particle animations in actionscript, but my scripting skills just aren’t good enough to make it worth my time. Great for Graphic Designers who don’t consider themselves coders. The smoke and candle flame effects are particularly nice!

I am totally speechless about this! I didnt know what is Partigen or what it does but when I saw the examples, i was thrown back off my seat. It was absolutely incredible! I love the one with goldfish in it. The thing is that the picture is just plain and incredibly interesting but the effects just make it look really astonishing! Amazing! Wow, this would be absolutely perfect to use on my wedding website to give some nice effects to some of the photos. (I’ll be getting married September 27th and it’s my birthday on the 14th, so it would be a great late birthday gift and an excellent addition to my wedding website.) I love the realism of all the effects. You can tell the same effects are being used but the creativity shown in the different ways they can be used really speaks to their versatility in projects. Partigen is a real life and time-saver. Very sophisticated particle-based effects can be created within the twinkle of an eye. Who would want to go about coding a particle effect when components like this do the work just within time and with good quality.

Thats pretty sweet, but I think like any tool it needs to be used with care and a level of subtlety or its somewhat like using heaps of bevel/emboss & outer-glow in photoshop.

How did they do that? I like the example with the little stars in the corner of the screen. I am actually trying to create somthing like those air bubbles (goldfish) with jquery for my own site, but as that’s a wh, i’ll likely not have it done before 2009. I’ll post here when i get around to it.

The thing I love most about the partigen component is that it can bring your photo gallery into life! No matter what type of photo gallery you have, just a little effect here and there makes it so much more attractive!Awesome work guys!!!
