N.Design Studio Redesigned 71
If you been following my twitter @nickla, you should probably know that I've been busy working on the redesign of N.Design Studio. After two months of designing and coding, I have finally launched the new design. Now it is running on WordPress 2.8 which supports a threaded commenting system. I will write a design process about the new site. For the time being, please check out the site and let me know your thoughts. You are welcome to post comments on this post or tweet @nickla.
I love the new design!!!
Your last design blew my mind. This does not spark any emotions for me. Your illustration work on the site is still amazing, but not diggin the big catfish theme. Its seems bland compared to your talent.
I see this as an upgrade, nomatter what people tells you. There are a few bugs however, hope you get them fixed :)

It is gorgeous. You have really great illustration work and it really shows it off. I LOVE the softer colors and paper feel and the wallpaper is gorgeous too.
This is an amazing Design! would you please write a tutorial on it from the graphix to the code please

The fact that you used previous work for a “new” design bothers me. I see way too much of this around the web. I mean c’mon, the header graphic for the new site is the same as the first gallery piece!! Come up with some more original work, change up your style, and set the bar higher. Someone of your talent shouldn’t be this predictable.
I my opinion the drawings are overdone. The text should be more important than the illustrations.

Really outstanding work on the redesign! I love how it mimics the paper texture of this site but it’s not as overly obvious. Each of the pages have a custom illustration to go along with it….keeps things interesting. Someone else said it above, very clear/clean/simple feel…but so rich in content and design elements. Even the posts themselves have a natural/organic flow that i think really works with the overall theme. I could go on, strong work, totally dig it! :)
Best header image I have ever seen. There is that one problem though, I don’t know maybe it is just me, the contents are ugly. Header/Footer is the greatest, but the body contents is not.
Shuld have place those youtube contents on inner page, not on the front..i don’t want to make this too long.
