I’d have to say I’m extremely excited about the content aware filling! Sounds like touching up those photos will made even easier. But my favorite part of the CS would have to be Illustrator ;)

That’s an easy one, I tweeted about this recently:

Finally have reasons to be excited for CS5: Content-Aware Fill, Refine Edge, Colour Selection & saving 16-bit .jpg’s

The content-aware fill in CS5 Photoshop has to be my favourite new feature. I can’t count the number of times a photo has been just too short, even after the CS4 content-aware scaling.

I’m really diggin’ the potential for a much more lenient art engine. Photoshop has always been on the up-and-up as far as technology and services-provided are concerned; but arguably, the true art factor has been a bit of a miss. From what I see, Adobe seems to have hit the nail on my head. I am very excited about the potential to have more of a poetic licence — should I be allowed to be cliché!

Nick Sil

Please excuse me! Admittedly, I neglected to read the entirety of the requirements in which to be qualified to win these prizes. I am not a citizen of Canada, but of the U.S.A. Please accept my misunderstanding and apology regarding what I now see to have been rather poignant oversight on my account. Best of luck to those in the running!!

I just finished watching the launch video, pretty cool stuff!
As far as what my favourite new feature is, I’m going to be unoriginal and say that Content Aware fill in Photoshop is the coolest new feature! Although I am looking forward to all of it, and the new Flash stuff.

I love every new feature each new release of Photoshop dishes out, but this time around, I’d have to say that the puppet-warp feature will come in handy, and content-aware fill will be such a time-saver.

It’s a tie for me… now how about a shirt to go with it?

There was a lot of great stuff from the launch video. As a web developer I was really excited about the integrated browser lab feature in Dreamweaver. I already use it, but now it’s handier!

I’m also looking forward to trying Photoshop’s new brushes. Corel Paint has had the upper hand with fine art brushes, but we’ll see if Photoshop will give it some competition!
