Adobe is hosting a CS5 launch event on Monday (Apr 12) at 11am EST/8am PST. Personally, I’m very excited for this event. If you haven’t signed up yet, hurry! Adobe’s team will be sharing a first look at the top five killer features of CS5 for design, web, video, and photography. I have five CS5 tshirts (from Adobe) to giveaway. To join the contest, simply post a comment in this post about your favorite new feature demonstrated in the launch event. Note: this contest is for Canadian participants only (sorry for the international readers).

Update: the winners are 36, 49, 69, 77 and 93.

My favourite feature is that I will turn into a wee little young un Wolverine that’s super excited about Adobe Premier :P

I’m loving the content aware fill. I can’t tell you how many times that would come in handy. No more clone/healing spot areas!

I also like the CS review feature. That would be great in our workgroup!

while content-aware fill truly blows my mind, since i do a lot of low-light long exposures my favourite CS5 featured introduced during the launch event is noise reduction in Photoshop CS5.

Well I’m very excited about the Flash CS5 Packager for iPhone Apps. Guess this was a case of the mountain going to Muhammad because Muhammad was too lazy to go to the mountain. Well done adobe!

The new Photoshop CS5 Content Aware fill is breathtaking.

As for Dreamweaver, I am excited about being able to code WordPress themes easier (locally).
