Been thinking about going for a while but then I saw the ticket prices.
I just moved in Toronto and this would probably be the best place I can think of to meet other designers.
I want to go there for two reasons, to expand my view of the design industry given that I’ve been working heavily on Motion Design for the past year, and the not so glamorous reason, I want to meet-up with people I haven’t seen in over a year.
I unfortunately missed my chance to enter the contest for female designers to win tickets by making a video expressing why they should win…II didn’t know they had this until after the deadline passed!
So here I am, trying, begging, pleading to let me attend so there CAN be more female attendance there! That and I really want to step further away from print (which I’m currently in) and have some real adventures in web!
I am a recent graduate and our teachers told us about FITC and that our class could go but it fell through. Since then I have really wanted to go!

Oh I’d love to go! Honestly, I’ve never been able to attend a conference and this would be an amazing opportunity!
Always wanted to check out a FITC and this year’s has a lot that relates to my work.

FITC… one excuse to come in USA!
I want to go because I’m broke, getting married, and won’t be able to afford this for another six years.
I want to go because, currently I’m volunteering to attend the event and would rather just go to the event.
We’ll live blog the entire event for webdesignerwall so that everyone can feel like they are part of it even if they don’t win the tickets!
We’re a tiny Interactive shop in Toronto that want to be part of this but we just don’t have the budget for this conference.
I want to go because it’s a great learning experience, as well as an opportunity to get to know a different culture and travel !!
