How can I crinkle my comment a little to increase my chances?
Why do I want to go? Well, I’m in Toronto, and this is an opportunity of a lifetime. Sometimes it’s difficult to arrange time to attend creative events, but I just happen to be available then. Sounds like fate.
Why do I want to go? Because I need to go, and be around other people. lol. Man is a social creature by nature. And I’m getting tired of spending time in front of my computer by myself in a dark room. lol. I think it would be amazing to get to go because I want to be around people of a like mind set and I’m a sponge when it comes to new information. Pick me. Please.

I volunteered a few years ago as a student to help out at the event, caught some of the presentations and absolutely but never got a proper experience. Here’s hoping this time I can go as an actual attendee.

Ever since i went to FITC amsterdam i’m hooked on it :( DO WANT.
It’d be a great opportunity to fly overseas and witness such a great event.
I want to go to FITC because it’d be a great way to meet with other members in the design community in person and see their thoughts of the industry and see where it is headed in the future months/years.

I’ve been interested in Flash for a while, espically 3D manipulation and real-time rendering. Thanks to James Acres, who has been giving me a ton of great information to get started and more familiar with all this stuff I am hoping to get some great contacts in the industry, make connections and most of all get inspired till my brain fries… I am a student and totally broke, even with a 30% discount I will not be able to go, since I will still have to pay for accommodations, food and transport. Winning one of those tickets would therefore be a charm to get further with my endeavor to become a Flash guru.

I recently was hired by a firm in Toronto mainly to build drupal sites but am now moving into flash and flex. Being new to Toronto, cost to attend the event are a little beyond my budget but would be a super huge opportunity if selected.

I want to attend it for 3 reason 1st it’s a great opportunity to meet great people from design community, 2nd I think it would take me year(s) to attend such an event because the cost is beyond my budget and 3rd I love to travel and this is a great opportunity to cash in :)
