Well, they say you don’t get a second chance on a first impression. And this is exactly how to make a first impression! I’m usually skeptical about most things I see on the web, first opinion to jump to mind is “I could do that myself” or “Yeah, but I wouldn’t pay money for it”.
Not so with this. I was amazed at the quality of the final result being displayed, harking to the same professionalism as many multi-million dollar companies use in presentations and marketing materials.
I have played a little with the sample features offered on their website and would now most definately recommend them to others. I can see this being a prominent feature in my flash design for a good while to come!

With this component it would definitely lighten up my load on tweening text effects on flash and even better. You won’t even need to create a tedious mock up or tweak painfully with this one. I hope they could release something that is object oriented effects in the future.

The tool looks great I took a further look into at http://www.txeff.com/
And the example looks you have posted at the top of the page has a Spiderman opening credits kinda feel to it, with a the lettering spinning and breaking away etc etc. (well to me anyway).
My pledge if I won is to animate,
“If Chickens ruled the Earth?…” and “Look behind you its a Three-Headed Monkey!” – that’s gotta be worth it :)

I am planning to make a big bang to 2008, the project is “The text world”- I will make all the objects with the texts ONLY, no images is allowed.
…a ‘text’ world, that would be like THE new trend, THE 2008 :P with that TxEff component, it would be MORE easy to create my project.
The project, it will be be marked by university, and the component of yours- it would be very helpful :P

I’ve used flash since 2000 when the guy who taught me had me help make a virtual 3d mall. Since then, I’ve struggled with the need to provide interesting animation to the client versus the amount of hours spent on such projects for reasonable rates.
I thought I had finally found the answer when I used SwishMax. I think I’ve purchased two or three of their versions of that software. I did make a few cool things. http://bedroomworld.com/slideshows was the best, and that was back in ’04.
Know why I haven’t touched heavily animated content in 4 years? The average client’s advertising dollars don’t cover the added luxuries. Till now?
Jumpeye components are cool. I used the flashVR panorama thing I think I saw on their site. This new project looks promising.

there’s a lot of cheesy text effects out there, but this one looks great. There’s some really interesting things coming out of this package. I think that the value of it is well worth it for someone who will be using it in the industry. For a component like this, you could get a lot of mileage and with the rates for producing flash content, this will pay dividends.

This reminds me of the old wildfx I believe it was called only the effects look a lot nicer and probably isn’t that heavy when the final swf is exported. Regardless looks like a nice component and well worth the money.

I think TxEff is very effective both for non coders and coders. Coder or not, you should see it in action before you tell yourself you could do the same effect by timeline or Actionscript. Beside, how many bugs you will have kill before you make the same effect? The winner is who uses it!

I like the effects. At least, the ones that I have seen demoed so far. It should be noted that besides the three effect limit of the demo version, they will only display in a non-production environment. Fair enough; seldom are demo versions licensed for production use. I hope to add this one to my toolkit!

Well I am webmaster for a high tech company , and I can say from personal experience when working with text animation in flash is just well “dam hard” any thing that well make the work fast and easer should be wroth it. after reading the article I believe txeff is the solution. I am working on my site right now as a staring off freelance web designers i am sure to get this component when I start making some money.
