I'm excited to announce that I will be speaking at WordCamp Toronto 2009. I will talk about various ways to use WordPress and provide tips on how I setup my WordPress sites (this site, Best Web Gallery, and IconDock). The event will take place in downtown Toronto between May 8 - 10, 2009. I have five tickets to giveaway. For your chance to win a free ticket, submit a comment in this post before May 4, 2009.
How to Get a Free Ticket?

- Winners will be contacted by email (so make sure your email address is correct).
Comment entries will be accepted until May 4, 2009. Then five winning numbers will be generated randomly from the comment list. Five winners will receive a free ticket to WordCamp Toronto 2009.
I will be lucky enough if i get this one, i live in Toronto, it will be great if i could win. I have done some css and jquery but it will be really good if i can put some of my fingers in wordpress.

I’m one of two web developers for the design company for which I work. We use WordPress to power almost all of our clients’ sites and our own company site, and I use it for my personal sites as well. I’m constantly finding new ways to tweak and use WP and all of my knowledge has been powered by searches and the WP forums (and WDW), so I consider myself a proud member of the WP community. I love WordPress, and getting some professional tips and guidance would be a huge boost for me both professionally and personally.
Working as a web developer for a design company, we use WordPress to power many, if not all, of at least a portion of our clients’ sites. I personally have been a very long-time user of WordPress and have continued to be pleased and amazed by the huge, helpful community of WordPress users who provide tips and tricks and great plugins. I would love the opportunity to take part in WordCamp and come away more knowledgeable and with exciting new ideas that I can incorporate into client sites and my own personal sites.
Been Following you since the beginning, and this is exciting! I’m not too far from Toronto, now I must consider going to WordCamp, maybe I’ll see you there?
I realize that every web designer, film-maker, musician, artist and creative is keeping connected and secure using WordPress. It’s becoming ubiquitous. I only started using it recently but love it so far. I can see the potential of such a powerful developing tool and would love to learn more at WordCamp 2009.
I’ve just graduated in computer sciences in Montréal and Web Dev has been in my mind from the begining of my formation. Now having the chance to assist at a conference here in canada would be very exiting! Even if I don’t win I’ll try to be there for sure!
