Free FITC Tickets (Round 2) 79
This is Round 2 of the FITC ticket draw. Again, WDW is giving out two tickets to the FITC conference that will take place in Toronto between April 25 - 28, 2009. Visit their website for event information and presentation details. I also want to remind the female readers that you can get a free ticket by submitting a video to FITC explaining why you want to attend the event (deadline is March 27, 2009). If you are buying tickets, enter coupon code "webdesignerwall" to get a 20% discount.
Update: This contest is closed and the winners are: 2 and 9.
How to get a free ticket from WDW?
- Post a comment in this post stating why you want to go.
- One entry per person. Duplicate comments will be voided and deleted.
- Winners will be contacted by email (so make sure your email address is correct).
Comment entries will be accepted until March 24, 2009 for round 1. Then two winning numbers will be generated randomly from the comment list. Two winners will receive a free ticket to FITC Toronto 2009.
Note: After this round, WDW will do another round to give out the last two tickets.
pick me!!!
(reason: I am a student at a small religious private school with little venue for creativity, graphic design and web design, pick me please)
I need to go to FITC to kick-start my life. I’m tired of living at home, alone, in Bradford, Ontario. I want to grow, meet people and see cool things that just can’t be experienced sitting in front of the same computer monitor every day. Oh yeah, I’m a hard-working, daily-commuting student so I can’t afford a ticket for FITC anyways. It’s my dream. :(
Toranto ? At the other side of the atlantic ? talk about webdesign and flash ?
Yes yes, it will be awesome to make me cross the ocean to see that !!
I wanna go! ^___^
My boss just went to FITC in Amsterdam and came back glowing about how amazing Ralph was. I’m still getting a handle on Papervision myself.
Plus, it will really make my ex-girlfriend jealous! …and isn’t that what life’s all about? :)
Cheers,
Jonathan
I live in an area with little creative Incite. I need this to open up a new world for myself. I work jobs that just don’t do it for me. I want to be a full time web designer / developer. This would really broaden my horizons.
I am a recent graduate and would love to be picked as I still have a lot to learn…!!!
Помнится, кто-то выкладывал фотки…
I work from home… havent been outside my house in 52hours… I need this :)
I’ve never been to Canada, eh?! Attending FITC once would be a lifetime’s worth of inspiration!
FITC is so awesome, its like the Mecca for self respecting developers <3!
God, i would love to go there
want to see what all the hoopla is about…
because:
design can change (lives, the future, our perception of the past and present)
and frankly
i give a damn.
I have no much knowledge about web design and I am a totally stranger to programing, But if you really want to find someone you can inspire most, YES, that’s Me ! You knew it !
By the way, where is Toronto ? I am from Taiwan,..can you lend me a GPS ?
I would love to attend because, i repurpose the information, skill sets, time and talents i aquire to the Church and Non for Profit Community Organizations…. We must help to empower each other.
I live near Toronto. I would love to be able to go to this event as I am just learning everything there is to learn about it, and I feel that going to this event will help with that. My dream is to make a difference in the world using my work, and this will help me with that path.
Would love to go, Why? well its about web design do I need to say more.
I’ve always wanted to go to FITC but couldn’t afford it. I think it would be an inspiring experience :)
I would love to go because I live close to Toronto and it would be super duper to network with people in the area. Plus I am a high school computer science teacher and anything I learn from the conference I could pass on to future web developers. Not only that but I would take a bag and collect as much samples as I could to share with my students.
To learn, to expand, to experience.
I work for an old-school corporation whose digital presence is really lagging. I want to attend not only for my own personal interest and learning, but also to bring back some fresh ideas for my work team.
I think it would be a great opportunity to network and expand my knowledge of web design, not to mention i’m Canadian!
