I have 5 last minute DelveUI workshop tickets to give out. Comment in this post before Jul 31, 2009 for your chance to win one. DelveUI is a two-day workshop that focuses on UI design. The event will take place August 5 and 6, 2009 at the Pfizer Auditorium in Brooklyn. This is their first year, but the speaker list is impressive. Visit delvenyc.com for more details.
How to win a ticket?

Comment entries will be accepted until July 31, 2009. Then 5 winning numbers will be generated randomly from the comment list. Each winner will get a DelveUI workshop ticket.
Delve sounds like a fantastic way to get a variety of perspectives and meet new people. I would love to go.
Would love to attend, great group of experts on hot topics. Could use a lot of inspiration and knowledge for projects. Let’s make the web a beautiful, usable space!

I would really love to be able to enhance my UI/design skills to make myself a more marketable developer. A workshop like this would help me tremendously.

I just moved to NYC and am looking for a job as a UI/UX Designer. Why I’m an awesome candidate to go to delve.nyc for free, you may ask?
1) I live in NYC, so my commute will be short.
2) I’m unemployed, so I can’t afford it.
3) I’m unemployed, so I can afford to take the time off.
4) I’ve been in the biz for 10 years, and am always striving to learn more.
5) I’m sick of looking at job sites all day… this will be a much needed break!

Living in Brooklyn myself, I’d love to be able to go to DelveUI–but can’t afford the ticket right now (as a student)! The line-up looks amazing–I follow many of the speakers’ blogs. Good luck to whoever wins the tickets, opportunities like these don’t come to often (especially in my backyard).

Awesome news. Why would I like to attend? Because we live in the future, and I would like to help design that future. Why else? Because sharing some thoughts from other passionate designers is the way the web (and the world) gets better. What’s more, this is the first year of delve, and the folks eager to attend assuredly share that same spark for new things and innovative ideas. Lastly, the speaker list is comprised of some of my favorite folks. Thanks, and I hope to make the cut!
Hmm… Plenty of reasons why I would like to attend and win a pair of tickets~ But the most important would be that I’m just out of College and I am in the works of building a blog / portfolio type cms. If I won this would be a great place to extend my skills.
Why would I like to go? Cuz I’m just a squirrel/interface designer, trying to get a nut/raise my rate and put out something that I”m proud of. This looks like a good opportunity to expedite those goals. Also, NY is the shiz. Tks for the ticket if I win, and tks for the great site even if I don’t.
As a web design and developer by choice Delve:UI would be an excelent experience for me to attend! I can not wait to go. ;’)

I’m an interactive production artist, one of a two person department at a decent sized agency. We’re the grunts, we get the work done and no one really understands how much is involved with making their website and banners ready to rock.
Lately, I’ve had to take on a bit of UI design due to some “economic shifting”. I’d love to attend this event in hopes of garnering a bit of professional wisdom. I could, quite frankly, use the guidance. It would be absolutely incredible to sit in while the folk at Delve/UI talk about all they’ve learned over the years.
