Clixpy Review & Captures Giveaway 260
Introducing a revolutionary analytic tool — Clixpy — it captures everything your visitors do on the site including: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and form inputs. For this review purpose, I tested it on IconDock and the results are impressive. Instantly, I can watch what my visitors did on the site. Clixpy is extremely useful to analyze the feedbacks on new sites and site updates. See it in action now or sign up to get 10 free captures for a test run.
Giveaway: Make a comment in this post (before Jun 12, 2009) for your chance to win a free "600 captures" promo code. I will be giving out 10 promo codes in total.
Installation
Installation is easy. Just copy a Javascript code onto your site(s). You can use the same tracking code on all of your sites and it will automatically filter the domains and sites.
Sessions (Captures)
Each session provides detailed information such as: page URL, day & time, pageview, duration of the visit, browser, OS, screen resolution, and the location of the visitor. You can save and add notes to the sessions.

Pricing
- 10 Captures = Free (new sign up)
- 100 Captures = $5
- 200 Captures = $10
- 600 Captures = $20
- 1000 Captures = $30
Final Remarks
- Clixpy is very simple and straight to the point (both frontend and backend). Totally recommended!
- If you have a high traffic site, 600 captures don't last long. I used up 600 captures in several hours.
- It would be better if I could download the sessions on my computer.

Very smooth ;-)
it looks really great, but make it sense to use it in production? how much is the client’s overhead? will you really review every single visit? but for the pre-launch / beta / testing phase seems to be the best i have heard about.
i just wanted to point out that i used ul and li tags in my first comment, and despite the preview area was showing them as i wanted, all the html tags were removed when i submitted, which is just inconsistent :(
Looks like a great tool! It’s so great to see some alternatives to google analytics =)
This looks really nice!!
Could come in handy for my own website!
Awesome ! Can’t wait to test it on my own site ;)
Thks for sharing
Another great giveaway!
Good luck to me!
We’re using Clixpy along with Google Analytics, a heatmap script, and Silverback for the Mac. Together they provide us with a really comprehensive usability suite, allowing the development of our webapp to come on leaps and bounds!
Ah! I would really like to try this out! I imagine it would be really useful for a site in it’s early stages, and used as a tool to refine and tailor the site to the users needs…
I”m just about to launch a new site, this tool would be great!
Looks like a great tool.
It’s cool but pretty scary. Bit big brotherish, but I suppose if it’s only used for analytic purposes. I’m currently setting-up a blog with some friends, it would be great to have this functionality to see what works.
Very interesting site. I´ve made an account and its awesome! You can see every single pageview and clic. But you have only 10 captures for free.
Could be really great. I’m about to launch 2 websites! Could be useful.
Yay, looks like fun. ;)
Clixpy is outstand! Goog lucky 4all
amazed. Clixpy is outstanding! Totally amazed! It would help for sure :)
I gave clixpy a try and was quite impressed. The dashboard interface and ability to capture AJAX content set it apart from other similar services.
The only problem I did find with it, was that it doesn’t play back captures from sites that load content via php includes. Something Userfly is able to do.
Well, Clixpy looks like a very a useful tool !
Sweet stuff. Will definitely take a closer look at this.
